University Adoptions

The book is printed on demand by Lightning Source in both the United States, in the United Kingdom, and in Australia. It is available through Lightning Source’s main distribution partners. College bookstores in the United States and Canada should send orders to major book distributors such as the Ingram Book Group, National Association of College Stores, and Baker & Taylor. Book stores in Europe should send orders to European distributors such as Blackwell, Book Depository, Coutts, Cypher, Dawson, Gardners, and Paperback Bookshop. Bookstores in Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and Latin America can decide which distributor to use based on shipping prices.

The suggested retail price is $36 in the United States. The price to students in the United States is much less than half of the price of a typical textbook.

Selected Chapters

Some instructors prefer to use custom-designed coursepacks consisting of selected articles and book chapters. Any combination of chapters from this book can be included in a coursepack distributed by Xanedu.com, the leading distributor of coursepacks. The price is $2.50 per chapter plus approximately $.08 per page and $1-2 for the binding.

If you prefer to work through your university’s copyshop or another local copyshop, royalties will be handled through the Copyright Clearance Center (www.copyright.com), which has pre-authorization to handle permissions and royalty collection for those copies.
